The crystals cluster breathe with the flow of colors. Blowing air into the installation will activate the effects of light inside the paper stones. The chromatic lights reflect, blend, combine and create a florid scene. Lights flow in the air, and interacts with each other. my goal is to create illusion of intuition sense by light: to make a light installation that creates light interacted by intuitive sense.
I built a matrix of LED lights, and use the microphone as the sound sensor to detect the sound made to the device, and use the Arduino to control the light effects of the Neopixels reponse to the sound.
I roughly sketched out how the installation will look like.
I designed the structure of the container, and decided how vellum crystals should be arranged and layouted.
I built prototypes of thee installation, and adjusted several times.
